. After pulling the animals from shelters or taking them from private homes, Mutts-N-More places them in private foster homes until a forever family can be found. We have a thorough screening process for all adoptive homes, and also follow up on every adoption. All of our adoptive pets are spayed/neutered if they are over 4 months of age (if not, a spay/neuter contract is signed which we follow up on diligently), and fully vaccinated and dewormed prior to going to their new homes (as age appropriate).

We also assist people with placing their pets in new homes if they are unable to keep them. We offer any assistance possible to help people find that special companion who would make a perfect addition to their family. We also educate people on the importance of spaying/neutering their pets, adopting pets in need instead of buying from a breeder/pet shop; educate people about puppy mills, and regular vet care for their new pets. All of our pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption (as age appropriate). If they are too young, they are adopted with a spay/neuter contract to be done before the pet is 6 months of age.
