Description

The Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers is a non-profit membership organization with members consisting of community and migrant health centers and other local non-profit community health care programs. The mission of MACHC's membership is "to provide health care services to the medically underserved and uninsured residents of Maryland and Delaware ." This, they are doing by delivering accessible, affordable, cost effective, and quality primary health care to needy individuals in rural and urban communities.

MACHC is the voice of communities in need, and is dedicated to building and strengthening programs in the delivery of quality community-based healthcare to the medically underserved and underinsured. We seek partners who share our vision and look for opportunities that enable us to achieve our mission. MACHC has a 25-year history of working closely with a large and varied group of organizations, including local health departments in Maryland and Delaware, local hospitals, state health departments, state mental health departments, the Maryland Health Care Foundation, Open Society Institute-Baltimore, Kaiser Permanente Health Plan, the Center for Poverty Solutions, Baltimore Substance Abuse Systems, Baltimore Mental Health Systems, and the National Association of Community Health Centers.
