Mission Statement

We are a group, pending non-profit status...we need to find good homes, foster homes, volunteers, transport, advice, referals, and as much support as we can to help stop the abuse, neglect, and slaughter of horses. In addition, we are doing as much as we can to educate both the horsey and non horsey communities about the horrors of slaughter, and the bills that need to be passed to stop all transport of horses to slaughter in other countries. We hope you will help.

Description

We are a group of people who are involved in all phases of equine rescue. Welcome all who want to join! We are constantly growing and trying to get all New Englanders as well as surrounding area (including NY, and down the east coast) together in the best network possible. We need to find good homes, foster homes, volunteers, transport, advice, referals, and as much support as we can to help stop the abuse, neglect, and slaughter of horses. There is no one facility, no one rescue, but a large group of people ranging from 'an extra stall' to larger 501(c)3 organizations. NEER is pending non-profit status.

Volunteering for NEER is very rewarding. NEER has saved so many lives. There are many ways to help and every little effort means a lot. I would highly recommend NEER!
