Mission/Philosophy


 The mission of Bethel Ridge is to provide comprehensive community-based support for persons with developmental disabilities. Bethel Ridge provides quality programs to enable individuals to reach their highest level of achievement and independence. These programs ensure that each individual becomes a contributing member of his or her community. To facilitate attainment of this goal, community housing, job training, job placement services, educational programs and social/recreational experiences are provided to support and enrich the lives of adults. Bethel Ridge believes in the potential of all people.

Description

Bethel Ridge is a not-for-profit, nondenominational organization that provides residential, recreational, vocational, educational, and family support services to people with developmental disabilities in Somerset, Morris and Union Counties, NJ. Founded in 1991 by families and human service professionals who believe that individuals with developmental disabilities have the desire and right to be fully participating and valued members of their communities, Bethel Ridge provides support services in enriching environments that will enable each individual served to reach his/her highest potential for independent living.
