The mission of the LIFE organization is to empower people with disabilities to achieve equal rights, equal opportunity and integration into our community. LIFE embraces and adheres to the independent living philosophy. This philosophy is based on the core independent living concepts of consumer control, self advocacy, community change, cross disability participation and the core independent living services of Information and Referral, Peer Suopport, IL Skills Training and And Advocacy.

LIFEis an organization operated by and for people with disabilities. Our primary goal is to provide the tools to individuals with disabilities so they can become as independent as they choose to be. Our services include: Advocacy, Equipment Loan Closet, Home Modification Program/ Adaptive Equipment, Independent Living Skills, Information and Referral, Resource Library, Peer Support, and Quartely Newsletter.
