I just love how you are able to learn more about plants and gardening while helping out. I love feeding the chickens or taking some mint right after I’m done, not to mention the veggies I bring home after!

I always love going to the farm. The community is so welcoming and friendly and made up of all ages and backgrounds. I always learn a ton and am able to leave day with a bag full of fresh produce. There is an awesome variety of fruits and vegetables available to the farmers provide me with great ideas of how to cook, pickle, preserve, and eat my harvest. I would recommend this opportunity to anyone in the area. Come check it out!

I was Garden to Table's social media intern this summer and have nothing but great things to say about my experience! It's flexible, inspiring, fun and innovative. I would recommend this job (or any job at Garden to Table) to anyone looking to work with creative people, experience hands-on learning and (bonus!) eat delicious produce.

I had the pleasure of interning with Garden to Table as their Fruit Picking intern earlier this year. The experience in working with the dedicated staff and the community was extremely rewarding. I would definitely recommend Garden to Table as an excellent organization that's really working towards providing a sustainable local food system throughout the Downtown San Jose area!

I'd like to now tell you why i'd recommend Garden to Table to a friend of colleague, but there is so much special goodness to share I probably won't have the time, space, or energy to properly express myself. I will say that my volunteering experience with their organization was fun, informative and fruitful…LITERALLY! (I was rewarded with a bag of luscious, ripe, apricots for the time and energy I donated.) I'd also recommend volunteering with Garden to Table because you might get a glimpse of the shark wearing shorts and rain boots.

I had an excellent experience working with Garden to Table for nine months (8/13 - 5/14) through their partnership with San Jose State University. Garden to Table is led by adept volunteer coordinators with a talent for developing mutually beneficial relationships. Their translation of organizational needs into rewarding assignments is top notch.
Garden to Table has a diverse palette of volunteer roles to fill. If you have a special talent or interest, you'll be in great hands. If you simply want to help create a sustainable local food system by any means necessary, you'll love the jobs they send your way!

We helped the organization to implement their information system. The staff are really friendly and passionate at what they do. They spent lot of time to help us to understand their needs and cheered us up all the way until we delivered the system.
I would definitely recommend this organization to my friends.

Garden To Table is an Excellent organization which provides volunteers to both contribute, shine and experience the very physical labor as kids heard in many fairy tails. The difference is, the volunteer effort affect every community member who benefits from the harvest and hard work and dedication of every volunteer. The staff coordinated by Lan is Extremely friendly and easy to reach. All staff members are passionate communicators, excellent at assisting volunteers in need and Very clear about the goal. Every day is laid out according to a plan. They are a very honorable organization that Deserves many eyes,
and its a way of giving back to the community. Garden To Table exposed me to how many people need help and how its Not Hard to give back to Our community.

If you like to eat, enjoy sunshine, and/or are curious about the earth, agriculture, community, then this is a great place. The staff here at Garden to Table lead by example and are truly dedicated to their cause. This organization is a genuine benefit to society and I am looking forward to the future progress of such a wholesome enterprise.

I've been volunteering at Horace Mann Elementary under the Garden to Table organization for my CHAD class at SJSU, and I've learned that it has very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful members. They're very dedicated to the community and teaching children about the benefits healthy food and the importance of growing fruits of vegetables. With many fun opportunities, Garden to Table is an awesome organization to volunteer for.

The team at Garden 2 Table are well organized, friendly and motivated. They are always prepared to provide clear direction and don't mind recommendations or suggestions. There is always a team atmosphere and when you are done volunteering, you really feel like you've helped out.
