Mission Statement

From Jacksonville With Love is a humanitarian non-profit organization that exists to provide care and emotional support in the aftermath of disaster in the southeastern United States by providing hot meals, needed supplies, and listening ears to first responders, as well as recreational diversions for children. From Jacksonville With Love's international component, From US With Love, focuses on strengthening communities in the aftermath of disaster by empowering women and kindling hope and joy in children.

Description

From Jacksonville With Love provides relief following hurricanes, tornados, and other disasters. This grassroots non-profit organization provides oppportunities for volunteers who feel a strong need to do something to help in the aftermath of disaster. Everything that From Jacksonville With Love does is about connection, everything comes from the heart. We provide lovingly prepared hot meals and other comforts to the first responders who put themselves on the front lines following a disaster. We also provide toys, games, balls, books, and art supplies to children who are struggling to recover some sense of normality after their world has been turned upside down.

From Jacksonville With Love's international component, From US With Love, is currently working on an initiative in Knysna, South Africa, where township children are still struggling to get their basic needs met in the aftermath of Apartheid. Projects include providing needed books, computers, and school supplies, as well as sporting equipment, to township children. Please see www.fromuswithlove.org for more details.
