Mission Statement

Since 1981, our goal at CEC has been to provide children with a loving environment that nurtures their growth and development by supporting their learning through play. CEC encourages parent involvement, partnering with parents for their children’s early learning experience. Our learning community values diversity and collaboration to create a culture of respect and appreciation.

Description

CEC is a 501(c)(3) organization headed by an Executive Director and a parent Board of Directors. CEC provides quality care for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years and holds aside some spaces for families who qualify for subsidies from Bananas, CalWorks, and other programs. We currently serve 65 to 80 children with a staff of 18. Our teaching team is highly trained, experienced, and loving. Teachers are selected, screened and retained on the basis of their commitment to quality education and care for infants and young children.
