City Year's mission is to build democracy through citizen service, civic leadership, and social entrepreneurship.
Description
City Year unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service, giving them the skills and opportunities to tutor and mentor students in LA's most under-resourced schools.
As tutors, mentors, and role models, these leaders make a difference in the lives of children, and transform schools and neighborhoods across the city of Los Angeles.
City Year is a proud member of AmeriCorps.
