To provide every child, every youth who is entrusted to us with the support, direction, education and guidance they need for a fresh start or a second chance in life.
To provide every child with a solid foundation for adulthood, teaching them how to play as children and enjoy their childhood in a supportive environment. To teach them self-discipline, responsibility, and respect for others. To give them love and caring to build their confidence and self-esteem. To help them achieve their potential so they can become well-adjusted adults who will be contributors to society.
To provide the community with specialized services responsive to the needs of children and families. To offer community outreach that builds awareness and support for proactive prevention and intervention efforts that benefit all children and teens.
Description
Crossroads for Youth is a nonprofit organization with two distinct areas of service: Core Programs and the Adventure Center.
Through our Core Programs , we provide troubled children a supportive, positive environment in which they learn how to succeed in life. We teach them self-discipline, responsibility and respect by offering them a range of experiences. All of our programs incorporate academics, vocational training, individual and family counseling, community service and adventure therapy, as well as aftercare.
In addition, our Adventure Center is an innovative, one-of-a-kind facility that offers therapeutic bonding experiences to businesses, churches, schools, sports teams, community organizations, as well as families and individuals.
At Crossroads for Youth, we believe every child deserves a chance. And that's exactly what we provide.
