The Rensselaer County Department for the Aging is to provide information, assistance and services to the elderly population within Rensselaer County. The goal is to remain independent for as long as they are capable.

Description

The Rensselaer County Department for the Aging provides assistance to Rensselaer County residents, 60 years of age and older. Programs include home delivered meals and congregate meals, nutrition education, transportation, legal, EISEP, caregiver support programs, ombudsman program, health insurance counseling and assistance, energy assistance and volunteer opportunities.
