Description
Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Twin Cities, a Catholic high school just off of Lake Street in the Philips Neighborhood of Minneapolis, is one of 24 Cristo Rey network schools around the country. The philosophy of every Cristo Rey school is to offer a college-preparatory education to students who otherwise would not have such an opportunity, As an integral part of their education, Cristo Rey students, "work to learn and learn to work." Through an integrated Corporate Work Study Program, students become members of the local business community, gaining valuable experience while contributing to their workplaces. Students at Cristo Rey attend school four days a week and work in their internship five days a month. Their wages are applied to their tuition in order to make the cost of a private education affordable for thier families.
