Foodwise is dedicated to growing thriving communities through the power and joy of local food. We envision a world that nourishes all people, local economies, and the living earth.

Description

Foodwise (formerly CUESA) operates the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays year-round and Mission Community Market on Thursdays March-November. Nearly 80 regional small farmers, and 30 local specialty food artisans participate in our markets weekly. Over 15,000 shoppers frequent our markets weekly. Education programs include cooking demonstrations, talks on sustainable agriculture topics, local farm tours, school market tours, web resource page (foodwise.org, weekly e-letter, educational fact sheets, pamphlets and murals.
