Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The Cedar River Watershed Education Center provides students of all ages excellent educational opportunities and resources to explore and gain an understanding of their rich cultural and natural heritage in the 90,000 plus acre Cedar River Municipal Watershed, the primary source of drinking water for 1.3 million people in the greater King County area.
The CRWEC overlooks scenic Rattlesnake Lake. This 10,000 square foot facility is the gateway to the 91,339 acre Cedar River Watershed. The Watershed gathers rain and snow providing 66% of the greater Seattle area's drinking water. The CRWEC connects people to the source of their drinking water through environmental education and interactive programs and exhibits. Over 30,000 school children, families and groups visit the center yearly.
