Mission Statement

The mission of the Larimer County Parks and Open Lands Department is to establish, protect and maintain significant regional parks and open space providing quality outdoor recreational opportunities and protection of acquired open lands. We are committed to fostering a sense of community and appreciation for the agricultural and natural heritage of Larimer County for present and future generations.

Description

Larimer County Parks and Open Lands has 5 programs which encompass the department. Open Lands, Horstooth Park District, Blue Mountain Park District, Administration and the Volunteer Program.
