Description

We are a small church, doing some big things and we need to build a website to reach and connect to more people. So we can showcase our amazing ministry, that is growing by leaps and bounds We have a food pantry as well as a community garden that is designed to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to the community. It is run by our youth, the groups name is, A.T.M. which stands for Above The Madness and we need to show case them to the public.

The gardens mission:

A four year program in conjunction with our strategic partner OOG (Original Organic Gardener), that will teach the youth of EUMC and the community about sustainable urban agriculture through cutting edge planting strategies. Such as above ground organic planter boxes, green houses and aquaponics.We will reach out to the community through neighborhood composting and soil donation for their gardens and house plants. We will source the fresh fruits and vegetables to local stores and restaurants to increase healthy food options, within this virtual food desert of East Oakland CA. We will also partner with other local organic farmers to host a bi-monthly farmers market featuring, local chef’s showing new and innovative ways to cook the fruits and vegetables.
