The mission of the Florida Home Partnership, Inc. is to offer affordable homeownership opportunities to low- and moderate-income citizens, utilizing the USDA Mutual Self-Help Housing Program model, and provide access to community resources.

Description

Once eligibility is determined, the Florida Home Partnership, Inc. provides first-time homebuyers with assistance on a down payment on their homes. The participant in turn provides "sweat equity" labor in exchange for the down payment. This labor includes all the tasks that go in to building a house. The Florida Home Partnership, Inc. assists in determining program eligibility, processes loan applications, prepares for the loan closing, and guides the homebuyers through the construction process.
