The mission statement of the Owensboro Police Department is to work in a true partnership with our community, to enhance the quality of life in our city, while maintaining order and protecting the people we serve by reducing incidences of crime, doing so with professionalism, honor, and integrity.

Description

Police Awareness Day is a yearly event designed to invite the public in to take a closer look at the inner workings of the police dept. Its also designed to alow the citizens a relaxed approach to speak with members of the police dept and form partnerships and gain trust.
