Mission Statement

Ordway Center's mission is to be a catalyst for the artistic vitality of our community by hosting, presenting and creating performing arts and educational programs that engage artists and enrich diverse audiences.

Description

Recognized internationally and appreciated locally, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts stands as the leading performing arts center in the region and a major asset to the community.

The 2008 Flint Hills International Children's Festival brings the world of the performing and visual arts to downtown Saint Paul. The 2008 Festival marks the eighth anniversary of this international event specifically created for students and families.

As an extension to Education and Community Engagement at Ordway Center, the Festival provides children, ages 4 and up, an unparalleled opportunity for cross-cultural experiences that promote the discovery of human commonalities and the celebration of cultural differences.

The Flint Hills International Children's Festival is a must-see for everyone. The Festival is rapidly growing and continues to make downtown Saint Paul a popular annual destination for families the first weekend in June.
