The National Organization of POMC is a volunteer-driven 501 (c) (3) charitable organization created by survivors for survivors. Local chapters like the Ventura County California Chapter are organized in cities across America. The Ventura County Chapter helps family members and friends of crime victims' deal with their acute grief while providing support and assistance in understanding and navigating the criminal justice system. Through personal support, the POMC volunteers empower survivors to get through the most trying events in their lives by providing on-going emotional support.
