Mission Statement

City of San Jose Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services and Far West Wheelchair Athletic Association co-sponsor the Northern California Junior Sports Camp. The Northern California Junior Sports Camp program introduces competitive wheelchair sports and recreation activities to children and youth who have physical disabilities and who want to have fun and participate in the same sports as their able-bodied peers.

Description

This camp will take place on San Jose State University campus. Athletes will be housed at the dorms but the sporting events will take place on various sites around the Bay area and on campus. World class Athletes will serve as role models and provide instruction in wheelchair basketball, tennis, track and field, archery, water skiing and other recreational sports.
