Description

We accomplish this by creating chapters of teen volunteers who visit nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and senior centers to provide complimentary facials and makeovers to the women living there.

Over the past six years GlamourGals has demonstrated success from its humble beginning of three volunteers in Commack, New York to fifty chapters in seven states, and along the way receiving numerous awards and accolades from the press.

Through this monthly service activity and additional programming, teens learn to appreciate and respect their elders while becoming more compassionate and mature individuals. The elderly women receive attention and dignity thus improving their quality of life.
