The Children's Park of Tyler

Mission Statement

The mission of the Children are a Gift Foundation, the Foundation supporting The Children’s Park of Tyler, is to honor the lives of all children. The mission includes helping families who have lost a child, have a special needs child, or are unable to have a child, to find peace and support through their healing process. Since being built, the park also has provided a wonderful backdrop for portraits and has been the home to numerous weddings and birthday parties. It is an especially meaningful place to families who have lost a child, because it provides opportunities to have children’s names engraved along the sidewalk, put on a bronze plaque beneath a tree or even on the plaque of a bronze statue. It provides, through God’s amazing grace and provision, a way for children’s names and memories to live on for generations
