Mission Statement

PLOWS Council on Aging is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting older people who reside in Palos, Lemont, Orland and Worth Townships. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of persons 60 years of age or older by providing the highest level of service to those who are physically, psychologically, and/or financially in need and treating those persons and family with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Welcome to PLOWS Council on Aging PLOWS Council on Aging is a non-profit social service organization serving individuals 60 years of age and older in Palos, Lemont, Orland and Worth Townships. In the four townships there are twenty municipalities and 70,000 persons over the ago of 60. PLOWS places special emphasis on helping maintain people in their homes and provides a number of services with that objective in mind. Our staff strive to assist older adults and their families with whatever concern may be paramount to them. I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to assist in delivering warm meals to clients of the PLOWS program. The volunteers and program directors/supervisors were extremely kind and professional. I would definitely recommend volunteering for PLOWS!
