Mission Statement

Dear Friends,

District 1 is my home and it has been since 1992. My husband David, our four sons and I built our life in District 1. We live, work, and volunteer here. I have a Masters in Public Administration, am an educator with the Moreland School District and spend countless hours working within our community. I am the only female running to serve as your voice at City Hall. As a working mother, I understand the challenges families face. It is time for change; it is time for our voice to be heard.

As your City Councilwoman, I will bring my passion and work ethic to City Hall. I will act responsibly for both the present and the future. I will work collaboratively with others who envision a stronger District 1 and City. Together we can find solutions to bring jobs and economic development to our community, to restore public safety, and build our community from the bottom up.

Someone who has lived and volunteered in our community should be our voice at city hall. To do this, I need your support. There are many ways you can participate. Please join us. Your support ensures that we can take this effort all the way to City Hall in 2014!
