Mission Statement

eGirl Power is a 501(c)3 nonprofit program of Project Pay It Forward with a mission to bring awareness to Gender Equality and support Girls' Education. Our recently launched domestic program empowers girls in New York City and beyond to improve their confidence, self-esteem, and achieve their full potential. Our international program raises awareness to support girls’ education in developing countries.

DOMESTIC eGirl Power program:

The key objective of the domestic eGirl Power program is to inspire, educate, and empower teenage girls to build confidence and self-esteem, and prepare for college and beyond.

eGirl Power inspires girls with real life and on screen role models from a wide range of industries, sharing with girls the many possibilities for future career fields and success.

Guest speakers, mentors and educators guide girls to explore a variety of potential college majors and career paths so they can make informed educational and career choices.

As each and every individual is skilled and talented in different areas, our approach to building self-confidence among girls is to help them learn about and identify their unique strengths.

eGirl Power equips girls with the tools for success as they prepare for college readiness and future careers.

INTERNATIONAL eGirl Power program:

Our International eGirl Power program focuses to raise awareness to gender equality issues as well as support girls's education in developing countries.

Absolutely. The mission of the organization is critical in today's world when we [females] are still struggling for gender equality globally. Amy and Karen are very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. They aim to empower women by focusing on the younger ones. As an educator myself I could not find before another organization that matches my causes, and my experience as an educator like this organization does.

Student Body of America Association is an organization with a great cause and everyone in the organization seems to be very passionate about what they're doing. Karen, the volunteer coordinator, is very friendly, patient, and encouraging, and ever since I started volunteer for this organization last July as graphic designer, my experiences were very pleasant. In volunteering with SBAA, I recognized my value as an individual, and it's my honor to work with such a great organization.

I am happy doing work as volunteer. Karen is simply awesome to work with. Its stress free and I really enjoy it. I would love to continue giving my contribution as and when needed. Every time I deliver the project Karen appreciate my effort and it really feels good. Thank you all. I'd highly recommend it to all the people I know.

SBAA is great to volunteer for! They were organized and treated me as one of their own. Looking forward to working on more projects with them.
