Finca Mompiche Animal Care and Shelter in Ecuador

Description

We are located in the beautiful village Mompiche, Ecuador directly at the beach. We rescue abandoned animals and offer them shelter. Description Finca Mompiche - Care was newly founded in 2014. We are still small but have a lot of animals. Fabiola, an Ecuadorian lady, is the caring lady who provided shelter for many animals who were doomed to die on the street. For years she designated all her time and money to help those animals that were in need. We have many horses, dogs, cats, ducks, geese and even a cow (who actually thinks she is a d og). Romy,originally from Germany, has joined Fabiolas ideas and visions and is designating all her time to the animals as well. Together it is our vision to create a beutiful ecological project and therefore we have now decided we are opening an animal shelter were you can help and build our new foundation, put your ideas in it and create something that makes a difference in life.There is a lot to do for our volunteers as there is always something to do here. Come and volunteer with us and get to know our animals and have an incredible time with all of us! We'd love to have you with us! All money generated from volunteers is used to help buy food for animals, medicine and to help improve the facilities.
