Mission Statement

Our mission is to protect and promote the civil, social and economic rights of Asian Americans through public policy, legal education, community organizing and leadership development. AALAC was formed in the spring of 2010 by and for Asian Americans who wanted a stronger voice in Georgia’s civic, social and political power structures. Most of our board and staff are immigrants who have faced discrimination and the challenges of full civic integration.

Description

The Asian American Legal Advocacy Center, Inc. (AALAC) is the first civil rights law center dedicated to Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders and Asian-ethnic refugees ("Asian Americans") in Georgia and the Southeast.
