Mission Statement

Anam Cara Compassionate Care Center shall provide a peaceful, healing place to care for terminally ill people and their loved ones in the last weeks and months of life. We are committed to providing compassionate, dignified, quality care that supports the natural processes that occur in the final days of life.

Description

Anam Cara Compassionate Care Center operates as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization under the sponsorship of c3: Center for Conscious Creativity. Its Hospice Volunteer Registry Service provides volunteer training and no-cost companions for individuals receiving hospice services at home. In addition, Anam Cara is remodeling a private residence in Topanga to provide a six-bedroom inpatient home away fr om home in a unique, natural setting for a fully supported experience at the end of one's life.
