Mission Statement

Maryland Resource and Training Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on strengthening communities by providing wraparound social services and programs to individuals and families based on the four pillars of civic learning & engagement, youth empowerment, leadership and economic independence.

We aim to educate, train, inform, and provide services and resources to help fight economic injustice.

Description

We provide programming in workforce development, entrepreneurship and STEM.

We work to provide adults with training opportunities to enable them to gain employment or grow in their current careers in an effort to enhance the quality of their lives.

With the shortage of women of color in the technology sector, we aim to introduce middle and high school aged girls of color to technology through our STEM program.

We aim to provide entrepreneurial training and support to those who desire to start a business, but lack the skills, resources and knowledge to do so on their own.
