Our mission is to provide services in assistive technology assessment, training and advocacy for persons with disabilities, promoting choice, education and meaningful career opportunities.

By increasing the capabilities of our citizens we will provide the foundation for greater physical, emotional and intellectual freedom. In fostering this greater independence, we will improve quality of life, participation in community activity and contribution from everyone, regardless of ability.

Description

ASSETS provides cost effective coordination of assistive technology services and training along with clear and objective assessment data. When school systems, habilitation centers and others outsource their assistive technology needs, we can virtually eliminate many of the roadblocks facing our clients' quest for equal access to education and independence.
