The New York Tolerance Center, in the heart of Manhattan, is a multi-media professional development facility where thousands of educators, law enforcement personnel, corporate professionals, and young people have been trained.

Description

The Center provides participants with an intense educational and experiential program that utilizes interactive exhibits, multi-media presentations, videos, and facilitated discussions to explore issues of tolerance, prejudice, and responsibility in schools, workplaces, and communities. Visitors are engaged in dialogues on contemporary and historical issues through exhibits such as The Point of View Diner, The Millennium Machine, The Power of Words and Images, and The Hall of Memory.
