Mission Statement

To develop youth, build strong families, and equip all people with God’s love, hope and wholeness -- to heal a broken world.

Description

Church of New Life Christian Ministries was started as an invitational Bible Study at the home of Apostles Sam and Shirley Nero, Founders/Senior Pastors. As a result of the vision God placed in their hearts-an unpaid staff was organized and immediately began work.

On February 6, 1989 Church of New Life Christian Ministries was formally organized under the law of the State of Minnesota. The first service was held on Tuesday, February 8, 1989 at Finely Place with thirteen people in attendance. One month later we moved to Zion Lutheran for three months.

July 1989 we moved to 3537 Nicollet Avenue South in Minneapolis. Our membership had grown from thirteen to eighty-five. The Fire Marshall informed us that we had to move because of space allocations. From October 1992 to November 1993 we held service at Hudson House - 3201 1st Avenue South.

The pastors and members of Church of New Life Christian Ministries never gave up the vision that God placed in their hearts. On November 28, 1993 we celebrated opening our first true home at 3536 Nicollet Avenue South in Minneapolis.

On Sunday, January 18, 2004 Church of New Life Christian Ministries members celebrated the purchase of the 3536 Nicollet Avenue South location with a Mortgage Burning Celebration.

In June 29, 2006 we purchased our new home located at 7101 Nicollet Avenue South, Richfield, MN.
