Mission Statement

Educating People to Preserve Our Building Heritage

Description

The Architectural Heritage Center (AHC) is committed to preserving our regional architectural inheritance. A project of the non-profit Bosco-Milligan Foundation, the AHC presents historic preservation education programs and changing exhibits of vintage building artifacts throughout the year at West's Block -- built in 1883 -- the largest "artifact" in our collection.

Programs include building rehabilitation workshops, neighborhood walking tours, and lectures on a variety of topics such as architectural styles and house history research. The collection includes stained glass windows, doors, vintage hardware, decorative plaster, light fixtures, and many other building artifacts, as well as historic building supplies catalogues and architectural reference materials.
