The Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation is a catalyst for the promotion of excellence for each of our students.

We believe that an excellent public education is every child's right.

We believe that an excellent public education depends on a well informed and supportive community, caring and competent educators, a supportive and responsive school environment and sufficient financing to achieve educational goals.

We belive that the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation can accelerate improvement in public schools through the judicious use of private resources.

The LAPS Foundation offers the Los Alamos Public Schools a formal system of raising, investing and distributing privately raised funds under the guidance of the Foundation Board of Directors.

An independent organization, the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation supports, challenges, and invests in a successful future for all children.
