Mission Statement


We are part of a big event that is taking place at Jensen Beach Elementary. The J.B. Community Playground Project is a custom-designed playground designed with our children’s input. J.B. Playground is a grassroots effort with community members joining hands to provide a state-of-the-art playground!

Jensen Beach Elementary is need of a new playground and with this community, along with a core group of volunteers; they have teamed up to make this dream become a reality. Fundraising efforts are under way and a build date has been selected. So mark your calendars... for May 2014 to build this magnificent playground!

Description

Our goal is to build a unique 10,000 square foot playground. Plans call for a coastal/historical themed playground that will be constricted with green materials (95% post-consumer recycled plastic). The playground will also provide a safe environment for special needs children. Our playground will have wheelchair accessible ground cover, therapeutic swings, activity panels, accessible parallel bars. This playground will be ADA compliant.
