Mission Statement

To provide a safe and healthy environment for elderly, infirmed, terminal animals and to assist animal shelters with over-population of animals in need of care due to their inability to provide it, and un-adoptable animals, by providing a forever home where they can live out their lives in peace and in good health.

Description

Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary is a non profit, volunteer based organization that cares for cats and dogs that are deemed special needs.

The animals that live at the Sanctuary can be elderly, ill, terminal, blind, deaf, come from an abusive environment, puppy mills, or their owner has passed and has nowhere to go.
Island Safe Harbor makes every effort to find the animals a forever home, bu, if for some reason, we cannot, the animal lives its life in our home like environment until they pass on to the Rainbow Bridge.

We exisist soley on donations.
