Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) operates its flagship teacher resource center in Roseville, MN. Our resource center provides educators at eligible schools with critical supplies, at ZERO cost to them , to empower teaching and educational success. Teachers can go through the store and choose from a full array of products. Upon arrival, KINF team members will explain the shopping process and be available to answer any questions. We are looking for off-site volunteers to purchase fleece and make tie blankets for kids PreK-12th grade. This opportunity is ongoing as the need for teachers to provide these items for their students has increased. Blankets can be any size and design! Our Resource Center serves Minnesota teachers through a variety of distribution channels. For teachers located within the Twin Cities area, we offer an in-store shopping experience or curbside pick-up at our location in Roseville. We also support teachers who are located outside of the Twin Cities through extended services to ensure product makes its way into the hands of under-resourced teachers and students who need them most. ------- We welcome you to drop off your donation Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am-4pm. You can drive around to the front, call the number listed and a member of our team will be happy to meet you! We partner with teachers and students in under-resourced schools to provide the support teachers need to teach and learners need to learn. Kids In Need Foundation is grateful to accept donations of any size from your family or community. You can easily host a supply drive in person or online to support our mission and work together in the process. Learn more about our DIY supply drives. With proper resources at their disposal, students find the confidence to return to school day in and day out. Teachers, too, are empowered to do their best work when they are supported by the resources they need to maintain effective, equitable learning environments. By hosting a supply drive, you can level the playing field in under-resourced schools.

The fulfillment of our national programs occurs at our Teacher Resource Center in Roseville, MN. We rely heavily on help from like minded volunteers like you, and would be honored if you would consider joining us to achieve our mission. We have lots of upcoming volunteer shifts: current volunteer events are 2 hours long and can accommodate up to 20 participants at a time. Become a Youth Ambassador! Join our Kids Helping Kids initiative! Today’s youth are facing extraordinary challenges, yet they have found positivity and purpose through service. Kids are forging their own proactive paths to help their peers. Out of that simple, "do good" intention, the Kids Helping Kids initiative came to life. Middle and high-school students can apply to be an ambassador for Kids Helping Kids. Each ambassador will promote his or her fundraiser in his or her community, learning valuable communications skills along the way. Ambassadors can raise support through funding and/or collection of supplies to be provided to under-resourced students. Click here to learn more.
