Mission Statement

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Description

Founded in 1915 in Detroit and with headquarters now in Indianapolis, Kiwanis International is a thriving organization of service- and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world. More than 600,000 Kiwanis-family members in 96 countries make their mark by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling their resources to address worldwide issues. Through these efforts, Kiwanis International truly is "Serving the Children of the World." The Houston Intercontinental Kiwanis is a member club which meets regularly in the FM 1960 area of north Houston. We meet every Thursday morning, 7:00 to 8:30 at Denny's - 1760 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston 77090, about one half-mile east of Kuykendahl. Visitors are encouraged to attend - cost is FREE for first meeting, $8.00 after that. Meetings include some good networking, breakfast and a short program.
