Are you interested in ethical volunteering opportuni ties in Tanzania? If so, The Small Things (TST) is the place for you! TST is a US-based NGO working on the ground in northern Tanzania. We integrate a comprehensive family preservation program with high-quality, loving, community-based residential care. That means keeping children in homes where they belong, caring for them when their families can’t, and doing all that we can to reunify children in our care with relatives. As a volunteer in our community daycare and preschool - The David Center - you will work alongside qualified Tanzanian teachers to support their teaching efforts day-to-day. Your fresh ideas for educational games and activities will be much appreciated by teachers and kids alike! In order to best support the attachment needs of the children at The David Center, volunteers must commit to a minimum of [HOW MANY?] months to be considered for this program. Our volunteers fundraise or contribute $650/month, which includes $400/month towards their accommodation, and $200/month towards our programs. We will support your fundraising efforts, so please get in touch at subira@familiesandfutures. org
