Description

The Institute for the Development of African-American Youth, Inc. (IDAAY) is a community-based, non-profit organization, serving Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties. Steven T. Robinson and S. Archye Leacock founded IDAAY in May 1991 in response to the alarming statistics characterizing disadvantaged youth in the Philadelphia area. To address these issues, the co-founders created an organization whose expressed purpose is to serve and empower youth at risk.
