Mission Statement

Capitol Commission, in partnership with the church, is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ and promoting the Biblical mandate to pray for those in authority in the Capitol communities throughout the United States and around the world.

Description

Capitol Commission has State Ministers in 23 state capitols ministering to the state legislators, staff, and capitol workers.

They teach the Bible when the legilatures are in session and provide pastoral care to the legislators all year whenever needed.

We believe that prayer is of vital importance in aligning God's word with the legislation created in these bodies. We support a tool for this purpose which can be found at www.pray1tim2.org. All 50 states and their legislators are found on this website
