We provide entrepreneurship, life skills and leadership training, abstinence-only education, and academic tutoring to adolescents and young adults aged 10 - 19. We currently operate in Clayton County, Georgia. Our organization operates under the direction of 7 board members. Leading Nations Entrepreneurship and Life Skills Program: We target adolescents primarily in Clayton County, that are economically challenged, lacking in leadership skills, academics and education on the physical, emotional and psychological effects of sexual activity before marriage. Our primary goal is to provide leadership skills, life skills and entrepreneurship training in an effort to decrease the number of high school dropouts in the area and give them an option to create the best future possible by reducing risky behavior. This summer program will enhance their math, research, communication, critical thinking and language arts skills by teaching the participants how to legally start a business, market the business, balance the budgets and make profits.
Leading Nations Collaborative: The organization plans to collaborate with other nonprofit and for- profit organizations that have an interest in helping at- risk youth. We will communicate with other organizations in Clayton County to combine services and products offered to youth to promote sustainability and decrease duplication of services in the County.
