Description

Belding is a great neighborhood school in Chicago

Located in the Mayfair/ Old Irving Park/West Walker neighborhoods, Belding offers preschool through eighth grades.

At Belding, parents and teachers collaborate to provide a safe, nurturing, and rigorous education for all children.

Belding serves as a model of the neighborhood school, providing a superior educational experience for 600 students who speak over 25 languages from the Old Irving Park, West Walker and Mayfair neighborhoods.

Test scores at Belding continue to be among the highest in the city and continue to improve each year due to excellent teachers and instruction.

Our assemblies and annual spring musical production are highlights for parents, community members and students. The PTA provides valuable support for our school by organizing parent volunteers, coordinating school-wide activities and raising funds for curricular and extra-curricular activities. Parents are an integral part of the school.
