Juliette Fowler Homes Inc.'s services have changed as the needs of society have changed. In the last 30 to 40 years the population needing retirement and nursing programs has greatly increased, while the need for group homes for children has diminished.
Cherish the Child is the foster care program of JFH and Presbyterian Children’s Homes & Services - serving children in north Texas who need short-term or long-term placement outside of their families and working with families who are interested in becoming foster parents.
Fowler operates three residential programs which provide a home and special services for more than 350 residents each day: retirement and assisted living apartments, long-term and skilled nursing care, and subsidized apartments for the elderly and the mobility-impaired, including assisted living apartments. Fowler accepts Medicare and Medicaid.
Residents enjoy Fowler's beautifully landscaped setting nestled in the heart of Dallas with many amenities, including: swimming pool, fitness center, barber/beauty shops, chapel, libraries, and gazebo. The shops, restaurants and services of the nearby Lakewood community are convenient destinations. Regularly scheduled transportation is arranged for shopping and cultural outings.
Juliette Fowler Homes Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and operates solely for charitable purposes as outlined by the Internal Revenue Service.
