Mission Statement

Extending the ministry of Archbishop Brunette, the Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry (OYYAM) provides resources for comprehensive Catholic youth and young adult ministry. Within OYYAM, CYO exists to provide opportunities for youth to develop strong moral character, positive self-worth, interpersonal competence, and a commitment to caring for others and their community through activities of a social, educational, and recreational nature based on Christian principles that reinforce societal values.

Description

CYO camps are located in 3 locations in Western Washington around the Puget Sound. Our fouth camp, Nanamakee Expeditions, finds its location in many places as the campers bring the spirit of CYO camp with them as they explore the outdoors on hiking, paddling, biking, and horseback trips. CYO camps is a ministry of the greater Archdiocese of Seattle. We offer co-ed and single gender, overnight summer camp programs. CYO camps are committed to enriching the spiritual, emotional, social, and skill building aspects in the lives of our youth.
