"Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust protects Tug Hill’s working farm and forest lands, its wildlands, and its natural and cultural heritage, for the benefit of present and future generations."
"Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust is helping create a region that is characterized by healthy working farms, forests, and wildlands that support communities that are thriving economically and socially."
Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust works with private landowners to protect valuable working lands and environmentally sensitvie lands in the regon. We also work to educate the public about the specialness of the region and all it has to offer. Since 1991, we have conserved land that now totals over 15,000 acres protected through conservation easements with private landowners, we have published a beautiful, successful book about Tug Hill’s wildlife and habitats. We have prepared and distributed to thousands of residents and visitors a guide to the region - a handbook for getting out and enjoying and appreciating Tug Hill. We have commissioned music incorporating Old Tyme fiddling; held hundreds of educational events and field trips; and now sponsor a series of community arts events, including our annual plein air paint out.
