Mission Statement

Amped for Education is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the creation of educational opportunities in the developing world through the funding and construction of schools, learning centers, and educational infrastructure. Amped For Education seeks to develop long-term relationships with local communities in order to facilitate a variety of educational initiatives.

Description

Amped For Education was founded in 2009 with the goal of expanding education in developing countries. We currently focus our work on Nicaragua. Along with a few other nonprofits, Amped built a high school in a rural community just outside the city of Granada that opened in February 2012. We continue to support this school by bringing volunteers to the community to work on projects, such as renovating students' homes and improving road conditions. Amped also currently sponsors 18 students who attend the high school.
