Description
Mentoring is a proven intervention that matches adults fromthe community with adolescents who have shown a need for a strong relationship with an interested adult. This school-based mentoring program requires an adult to meet with a child at least 1/2 hour per week at the school. The length of each visit has been proven not to be as important as the duration of the relationship; therefore, we strive to create a match that will last at least 12 months. Evidence has shown that mentoring have a great impact on the life of a child!
