To give families basic support by providing realistic life skills and the foundation to improve family relationships while providing resources to become financially stable to families in need.
Educational Resource Tools
Our educational resource tools include the primary items a child would need to begin the school year:
- State Test Prep Resource Tools (Disabilities Resources included)
- Autism Resource Services
- School Supplies
- Gently used school uniforms
Quarterly Family workshops for school supplies, healthy eating habits and financial planning are sponsored by Youth and Family Outreach Services.
Temporary Emergency Resources
Our temporary care services include the items a family will need when starting over after a natural disaster/fire or suffering financial hardship:
- Care Kits for families after a natural disaster or fire
- Gently used clothing
Healthy Lifestyle Initiative
Parents who are enrolled in the Outreach Services have the opportunity to attend quarterly workshops which address:
- Nutrition Awareness/Physical Activity
- Wellness Check ups for the family
- Community Garden Initiatives
Health workshops focus on yearly health check-ups for women, men and children. We concentrate on proactive screening for breast cancer for women, overall health for men and obesity in children along with regular dental and mental health visits.
Financial Planning Initiative
Parents who are enrolled in the Outreach Services attend a quarterly financial planning workshop. The workshop teaches balancing a checkbook, saving for the future, life skills and become financially stable.
Summer Enrichment Activities
Outreach Services believes it is vital for all children to have access to water safety education. We have partnered with the T.S.F. Learning Center to provide this resource to children ages 4-18 years old.
